MY ROCK CLIMBING COMMUNITY



I have spent years filming/photographing first ascents and the historic moments in interior BC's "Golden Age" of climbing. I am also a developer of new outdoor routes, researcher and writer for the West Kootenay Bouldering Guidebook, and community leader regarding local access, public relations, and social media management as our climbing areas continue to explode with popularity.



MY OUTDOOR EDUCATOR COMMUNITY



I have been an outdoor experiential educator for eight years. My main focus is urban Parkour programming (fantastic for building a healthy relationship with risk, fear, and self-image), and wilderness expeditions in BC and Yukon.

​I work with Fireside Adventures, Sparrow Indigenous Leadership, and Vancouver Outdoor School as an educator, business strategist, visual/web designer, and photographer (example below).



BCOS COVID-19 TASK FORCE



I am a member of the BCOS: a task force endorsed by 40+ of BC's leading outdoor operators including Outward Bound and the Outdoor Council of Canada. We created a set of COVID-19 guidelines (click here) to give BC's outdoor operators a unified, BCCDC-reviewed approach to safely operating throughout the pandemic.

​As document facilitator, I was responsible for the logo design (pictured below), graphic design, proofreading and organization of the final document. I was also a contributing photographer (pictured below). Click here to view the guidelines.
